Integration system for laser welding

The Inline Welder from Leister is a laser welding system for integration into industrial production lines. In the laser-safe processing cell, 2D contours can be welded with the Scanner Optic from Leister on a working area of max. 250×250 mm. The integrated clamping technology ensures the correct contact of the components to be welded. The control cabinet is divided into two parts to minimize the space required in the work area. The modular, interchangeable Laser Unit and the Scanner Unit can be positioned decentrally in a 19-inch rack.

The Inline Welder is designed for mounting on a rotary indexing table or in a production line with conveyor belt. The control for the individual components and the compressed air supply to the pneumatic clamping device are located in the flange-mounted control cabinet. Sensors in the clamping device and in the optics enable the monitoring and evaluation of various process parameters during welding. Workpieces that are in the processing cell at the same time can be evaluated separately. The 22-inch touchscreen in combination with the ML-HMI (modular Leister Human Machine Interface) simplifies the operation of the laser welding system. Various interfaces enable the Inline Welder to communicate with the higher-level system. The Leister communication standard can be customized.
