Turnkey laser welding technology
The NOVOLAS™ WS-AT is a universal modular laser welding system and a manual workstation that can be provided with expansions and accessories for versatility. The system contains all components necessary for processing and is set up for connecting all optional expansions and accessories. In addition to the standard version, expansions featuring a rotary indexing table and transfer belt are also available. NOVOLAS™ laser technology is complemented by a range of accessories. This means that Leister can construct a laser welding system tailored to applications and processes specific to individual customers.
The tried and tested HMI (Human Machine Interface) control software on the NOVOLAS™ WS-AT provides a user-friendly way of adjusting the parameters of the welding process. The operator is conveniently guided through the process steps and can easily adapt the welding parameters to each process. The control system also features integrated online process monitoring that has a good-bad evaluation system and can be utilized when operating applicable modules. To adapt the welding device to the production line, the WS-AT can be easily integrated into existing transfer systems. Leister also offers adaptations specific to individual customers upon request.

MAXI is a modular, universally applicable laser welding system from Leister, which is particularly suitable for large components. The system can be additionally extended by housing attachments. In addition to the standard version, extensions with rotary table and transfer belt are available to increase the throughput. As an alternative to the servo axes, the system can be equipped with a 6-axis robot. This significantly increases the contour welding flexibility, especially in combination with the GLOBO Optics.
